Sunshine Coast Brides Launches!

This is the quintessential bridal magazine for those seeking inspiration for a dream wedding on the Sunshine Coast.
For the past six months, suppliers and brides-to-be have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Sunshine Coast Brides magazine.
On Thursday 4th December, advertisers were invited to the unveiling of the new title at the popular Hinterland venue Maleny Manor. The grand affair was more than fitting for this new premium-end magazine, where we were treated with divine champagne cocktails and delicious canapés, smooth tunes from Jazzitude, and a delightful introduction to the magazine from its talented publishers.
This new bridal magazine has done the Sunshine Coast proud. The cover design is striking, featuring a very romantic tulle-embellished gown from Hills in Hollywood, and set in the unique backdrop of the Maleny Hinterland.
The magazine’s design is clean and stylish, with plenty of full page images for brides-to-be to gush over. A very content-driven magazine, it offers plenty of useful tips, information and inspiration to really help plan a wedding on the Sunshine Coast.
Events by Design was honoured to be featured in their Designer Decor section, where eight of our style palettes give brides some alternative ideas for styling their reception: from French Vintage to Bold Black & White and Pretty Pinks. You can see more of these ideas in our Styling & Decor section of our website.
Having now read the magazine from cover to cover (and then some!), I thought I would share with you some of my personal favourite sections:
- Both fashion shoots – styled beautifully and featuring a diverse range of gowns and bouquets to match.
- The Noosa Chic Best Friend’s Wedding – I really enjoyed reading this story about Jodi Cashmore and her wedding at Sails. She just looked so natural and happy – the quintessential Noosa wedding.
- Hannah & Amos – how gorgeously shot is this wedding by Calli B Photography! Just breathtaking.
- Chrissy & Troy – the vintage style of this wedding at Laurels is one of my favourites and her bouquet by Mondo Floral Designs is just magnificent.
- Glamorous Styles For You To Create – if you are looking for inspiration on beautiful hair and makeup styles to suit the Sunshine Coast, this feature showcases a lovely range of soft up and down-dos and striking eyes.
Of course, the best thing you can do is go buy a copy for yourself, before they all sell out! The magazine is distributed across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. If you cannot find a copy, then email the publishers at info@sunshinecoastbrides.com.au
The only thing I’m wishing for is the next issue! Published annually, I’m going to have to wait some time, but needless-to-say, my issue is already marked with post-it notes on my favourite pages...congratulations to the team at Adore Publications on a fantastic new title!
