New Yorkanites do not skimp on the detail!

I’ve been doing some research about New York weddings lately, scanning pages upon pages of unbelievable imagery that dictates to me that New Yorkanites do not skimp on the detail!

They love the fluff that is involved in a wedding and anything that you didn’t think possible – they’ve done it. I love the fact that these couples have gone to extreme lengths to make their dream wedding a reality. Everything about their style and decor reminds me of what weddings are about – absolutely beautiful, personable, dedicated to the little touches, that make them a reflection of you.

I mean you have to give it to them; most of these girls are as close as you can get to the designer of your dreams, with brides sashaying around Central Park in Vera Wang, Reem Acra and J. Mendel on a stunning Autumn Afternoon.

These couples from the Big Apple not only know how to throw a great party but they have an incredible eye for detail. I am amazed at how practically every groom wears a black tuxedo and every bride has that certain quality of sophistication about her.

Such a different part of the world, but at the same time what these women have and display at their weddings, is not so different to us. We love a good shindig as much as the next person, and creating something personal and a reflection of ourselves.
