With another issue of Bride to Be hitting the shelves recently, it amazes me how every quarter the talented staff at Bride to Be seem to outdo themselves!

This issue does not disappoint, with a huge emphasis on fashion: whether it’s detailed and textured bridal gowns straight from the catwalk, to Bridesmaid outfits in every shade, and shape, under the sun!

Here are some of my favourite must-reads for this issue:

1.       “Green Day” theming and styling section – where there is a heavy influence on natural greens, plants, foliage, textures, details and handmade goodies!

2.       My Favourite Celebrity Stylist: Jenny Packham on page 52, with her latest 2009 collection embodying a mix of Marie Antoinette and vintage Parisian.

3.       Loveboat Fashion Shoot – The photo shoot alone is just beautiful with the colourful backdrop of Vietnam. I was knocked over by the Vera Wang crème gown and Alannah Hill crème headband found on page 116. Absolutely stunning!

4.       Retro Love Fashion for Bridesmaids – sequin dresses, bold head pieces, bright fabrics and florals, floral, florals.

5.       Receptions – Bride to Be features 3 themes: Vintage, Beach and City, and gives nifty tips on ways not to break the bank.

Oh and don’t forget the breathtaking dress from Roz la Klein, -the ‘Rumba’ gown, with beaded detail straps found in Cupids Bow on page 139.

If you are dreaming of a romantic escape, then Bride to Be also features a large Honeymoon Special, where it gives you both a “save” or “splurge” option on some of the most spectacular places on Earth.

So make sure you have some quality time for yourself and curl up with this issue of Bride to Be, or take a look at their website at www.bridetobe.com.au.

If you have any questions about planning your wedding then drop us an email at Events by Design.

Happy reading,
